I grew up in the harshest of Chicago winters - always equating Christmas with an above average chance of snow and a near certain wind chill that peaked in the high teens. I've split my last decade living in Northern California and Washington, DC, but this is the first Christmas in my shortly recorded history I have actually physically spent in a climate more acclimated to 60 degrees and sunny than wintry mix.
Here's to you, San Francisco. You're a sexy minx with unpredictably fair weather, hard drinkers and an eclectic citizenry. Don't ever change.
